Landshut; Germany; shrine of St. Antoninus in a side altar. The relic arrived in the town's Cistercian convent of Seligenthal in 1667 as a presumed martyr discovered in the Roman Catacombs. The oil in the lamp near the shrine was believed to be miraculous. This garnered great fame for the relic; and the oil was sold by the nuns at the convent's gates. The bones of the relic are not visible; being encased in the decorative metal casket shown. The convent acquired three similar relics; however; and all of these remain in glass shrines with their bones visible. Photo 2012.
