217. The Temple Scroll is one of the longest of the Dead sea Scrolls; discovered in Qumran. The Hebrew text describes a Jewish temple which has never been built with the intention to say that this is the right temple which was revealed to Moses; together with detailed rules about sacrifices and Temple practices.
