Colossal statue of Akhenaten standing with arms folded holding the flail and heka scepters. The lack of genitalia is thought to be a reflection of the belief that the pahraoh was the primordial god; both a mother and father to people. The statue was erected at Karnak at the temple courtyard build by Akhenaten; next to the temple of Amun-Ra. Country
