Caterpillar in white campion fruit. The larva of a moth or butterfly is feeding on the seeds and pulp of the fruit of the white campion (Silene alba). This fruit, which has formed from a fertilised flower, has been cut longitudinally, exposing the interior. This plant is found in Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa. Photographed in Europe.
