Wheat crops growing near Hangang in northern China. In many areas unless the crops are artificially irrigated (as they are here), they can no longer produce food. Due to drought many areas that previously produced much of China's food are seeing crop yields falling, leading to a loss of long term food security. Computer simulation shows that as Climate change accelerates, it will lead to food shortages across large parts of china.
