Kossuth Bridge WWII Memorial. The Kossuth Bridge or Kossuth hid was a bridge over the River Danube in Budapest from 1945 to 1960 errected after the Soviet Red Army took Budapest in early 1945 and found all the citys seven bridges had been demolished by retreating Nazi troops.
