Clifton suspension bridge, projected onto the image dish of the camera obscura at Clifton Observatory, Bristol, UK. The hand and head of one of the visitors is at top. This viewing device, on top of the building, consists of a lens and sloping mirror which projects an image onto this 1.5-metre-diameter circular concave white surface in a darkened room below. The camera obscura can be turned through 360 degrees. It was installed in 1829. Photographed in June 2013.
