Hip dysplasia. Medical staff on the paediatric ward of a hospital plastering the lower body of a baby with hip dysplasia, or congenital dysplasia of the hip (CDH). CDH is a congenital (from birth) or acquired deformation or misalignment of the hip joint. Here, the joint is dislocated and the plaster is being used to hold the hip in place while it heals.
