A painting detail in the tomb of Senet showing bread making, Moulds are filled with dough taken from large jars and then stacked for baking. Bread dough was used in the brewing of beer also and bread and beer making are almost always shown in the wall paintings side by side. As a rule this was womens work. Egypt.
