Nazi timebomb. Conceptual artwork of a copy of the book 'Mein Kampf' (1925, 'My Struggle') by Adolf Hilter (1889-1945), with a lit fuse, representing German National Socialism (Nazism) as a timebomb. Hitler wrote this memoir while in prison in 1924 following a failed coup. His later rise to power saw him become head of state as Fuhrer und Reichskanzler (leader and chancellor) in 1934. Under his leadership Germany became a totalitarian state (the Third Reich), resulting in World War II (1939-1945) and the death of tens of millions. 'Mein Kampf' detailed Hitler's political ideology and anti-semitism.
