Sundial attached to the wall of a building. The sundial has a spike at its centre. Around the spike are carved lines, which mark time in units of 15 minutes. The hours are shown as Roman numerals. When the Sun is shining it causes the spike to cast a shadow across the face of the sundial. This shadow moves around the sundial as the Sun travels across the sky. The time shown here is just before four o'clock in the afternoon. An inscription shows that this sundial was made in 1887.
