City Hall, London, England. This building houses the Greater London Assembly. It is located on the south bank of the River Thames, near Tower Bridge. It has 10 floors, and is 45 metres high. The river bank is at right. The building's shape is designed to minimise exposure to direct sunlight. City Hall was designed by the architects Norman Foster and Partners, and was opened in 2002.
