Personalised virtual twin on a computer screen, being held by its human counterpart. The 3-D image (avatar) can be used to personalise computer displays, mobile telephones and even computer game characters. The 3-D model is created from two views of a person's head. The two views, one in profile and one face-on, are combined using specialised software. The 3-D model is flexible, and can be animated to express emotions and simulate speech.
