MODEL RELEASED. Personal assistant robots, with designer Yoshihiro Fujita. These R100 robots can recognise faces, identify hundreds of Japanese words, and obey simple commands. They can also sing and dance. Each possesses a visual system composed of two digital cameras. The view of the robot at centre left is shown on the screen at upper left. The robots were designed and built by NEC, Tokyo, Japan.
