This installation generates electricity by means of gas turbines. A gas turbine consists of a compressor in which the gas (usually air) is compressed, a combustion chamber for heating the compressed air , and a turbine. The hot compressed air turns the turbine, generating electricity. Gas turbines may run on a variety of fuels.
