Beauty perception. Composite computer image of the faces of 8 Caucasian fashion models. This image is one of four illustrating attractiveness in models. Eight faces of Caucasian models, taken from fashion magazines, were combined by computer to show an average" Caucasian model's face. This image was then combined with composite pictures of an Afro-Caribbean model's face (P870/087) and a Japanese model's face (P870/088) to produce a composite, multi-cultural model's face (P870/090). The images are part of work in which scientists concluded that beautiful faces do not have average features."
