MODEL RELEASED. Artificial cross-pollination. Researcher removing the reproductive part of the flower from a strain of wheat plant (Triticum sp.). This will then be cross-pollinated (hybridised) with another strain of wheat. The plants created by this work will have characteristics inherited from both of the parent strains of wheat. This work will produce new types of wheat combine favourable characteristics such as resistance to disease and adaption to particular environmental conditions.
