Matt Stinemetze, test pilot for Scaled Composites, sits in the simulator for White Knight II and SpaceShipTwo, which he helped designed and build with Peter Siebold. He was the co-pilot of White Knight in the X-Prize flight and was responsible for pulling the control which released SpaceShipOne from the mother ship. Scaled Composites is a small but well-known experimental aircraft design and manufacturing company founded by Burt Rutan, located in Mojave, California.
