The animated scene takes place in a city environment featuring mansions, towers, loggias and more 15C buildings. To the far left a beautiful young Susanna splendidly dressed meets a group of elegant youths in fashionable dress who admire her. Two women look on from a balcony and two children play with a dog. In the centre is a vaulted loggia with a ceiling of gold stars against a light blue azure background and elderly men administer justice but after seeing the girl they follow her into the garden where Susanna enters a door in an octagonal tower. To the right the chaste girl, naked in the fountain, tries to shield herself from the gaze of the elderly men.
