Mr Murdock. Passengers on RMS Titanic. Mr Murdock was the officer in charge at the moment the Titanic encountered the ice floe and was on the Bridge at the moment of impact. He did not survive. Titanic was built by Harland & Wolff in Belfast Ireland during 1910 - 1911 and later sank on April 15th, 1912 off the coast of New Foundland after striking an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York, USA, with the loss of 1,522 passengers and crew.
