Kentt?rova station, Finland. Kentt?rova station ( 347 m a.s.l.), anemometer and wind vane for elevated wind measurements atop 20m measurement tower. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and energy fluxes are measured at the station using eddy covariance technique. An extensive set of additional meteorological measurements is also conducted at the site. Absence of large local and regional pollution sources are main reason for this location. Part of a global programme for monitoring and assessing chemical composition and related physical characteristics of the global background atmosphere. The station is maintained by the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) and the Finnish Forest Research Institute (METLA).
