Glacier outflow into the sea. This is the Nordenskjold Glacier, seen from across Cumberland East Bay, South Georgia. This large glacier flows into this bay on the northern coast of South Georgia. It is named after the Swedish geologist and geographer Otto Nordenskjold, and was discovered by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition 1901-04, which Nordenskjold led with Carl Anton Larsen.
