Hasselblad camera used in Apollo missions. Almost all the photographs taken during the Apollo missions to the Moon in the 1960s and 1970s were taken using cameras like this one, modified for use in spacecraft. This is a modified Hasselblad EL Data Camera (HDC) 500 EL, which was the version used during Apollo 11 and the Moon landing. The film magazine seen on this camera has 200 exposures, and the labels at right refer to the lunar missions. The lens used (left) was from the Zeiss company. Further modifications were made on subsequent missions, such as the addition of a 250 millimetre telescopic lens for Apollo 15.
