MODEL RELEASED. Victor Tsang, heart surgeon. Victor Tsang is a consultant cardiac surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He was one of two surgeons involved in the first ever removal of a transplanted heart from a patient. The transplant was originally grafted onto the girl's own, damaged heart when she was 11 months old. However, she developed complications due to the immunosupressants used to prevent the heart being rejected. Ultimately it was decided to remove the donor heart after her own heart had recovered some 10 years later.
