Visual attention research. Researcher working on an experiment into the the mechanisms behind visual attention. This research has demonstrated visual attention to be a kind of 'strobe' in permanent displacement - similar to a light beam moving from target to target seven times a second. This discovery could help to understand the neural mechanisms of attention and link them to certain oscillations in brain activity.
