A Wa-Arusha warrior carries home a yoke. His brown necklace is made from aromatic wood. The Wa-Arusha are closely related to the Maasai and speak the same _maa language. Unlike the Maasai, however, they till the land. In the past, this has brought them into conflict with their pastoral neighbors who disdained cultivation.
