Quivertrees in a forest, close to the Southern Kalahari. The quivertree, Aloe dichotoma, (also known as 'Kokerboomwoud') thrives on steep, rocky slopes over a large area of southern Namibia and the northern Cape Province of South Africa. They are specially adapted to survive in very arid conditions.
