Note the moon in the background.Built around an armature of wooden poles, which gives resilience to the structure, its projecting ends serving as scafolding for maintenance, the badgir captures the breezes and carries them to the ground floor and underground chambers. The inward flow of air is matched by a strong updraft in the opposite side of the wind tower.
