A young girl of the Mursi tribe. This girl is unmarried as she does not have the pierced lower lip and clay lip plate of a married woman. Within the Omo Valley, the Mursi have a reputation for being extremely fierce and aggressive but also for being skilled in making clay pots. This girl carries a pot on her head using a ring of plaited grass to help prevent the pot from falling.
