A group of N!!S hunter-gatherers enjoy eating an ostrich egg, which has been baked in the embers of a fire.The N!!S are a part of the San people, often referred to as Bushmen. They differ in appearance from the rest of black Africa having yellowish skin and being lightly boned, lean and muscular. They speak with four distinct click consonants.The N!!S live in the harsh environment of a vast expanse of flat sand and bush scrub country straddling the Namibia-Botswana border. Until recently, their way of lifehad remained unchanged for thousands of years. Few now live solely by hunting and gathering.
