Canada goose (Branta canadensis) landing on water. This goose grows up to 100 centimetres in length with a wingspan of 160-175 centimetres. It feeds mainly on aquatic vegetation but will also eat cereal grains on agricultural land. The canada goose will find a mate during the second year of its life. It is native to North America and has been widely introduced in Europe. Photographed in Sussex, UK, in January.
