Whooper swans (Cygnus cygnus). Whooper swans are monogamous for life. They breed in wetland areas of sub-Arctic Europe and Asia and occasionally in Scotland. They are migratory birds, overwintering in northern Europe and eastern Asia. Whooper swans have a wingspan of up to 235 centimetres.
