Male brown anole (Anolis sagrei) with an extended dewlap. Males extend this piece of skin to either threaten other males or predators, or to attract a mate. The brown anole is native to the Cuba and the Bahamas. It began to colonise Florida in the late 1950s. Photographed in Homosassa, Florida, USA.
