Steel pipes for transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG). These 48 inch (1.2 metre) pipes will form a new pipeline transporting LNG from the Milford Haven terminal in Wales to Gloucestershire, England. LNG is natural gas that has been processed to remove impurities and then cooled to condense it into a liquid. Its production cost is high, but it is cheap to transport because of its low volume.
