Four young farmers leave London for Australia to take part in anniversary celebrations. Four country lads, members of Young Farmers Clubs, left St Pancras Station on the 'Maloja' boat train for Australia. This is a return visit following the coming of a team of Australian young farmers to Britain last summer to take part in the yearly International Dairy Cattle Judging Competition. The team from Britain will take part in the 150th anniversary celebrations in Australia and will be away for about six months. A special fund was created to pay the expenses of the trip. Photo shows, the party on departure from St Pancras top (left) I E Gilmer (Scotland), and right F C Christopher (England). Bottom (left) E Williams (Wales) and right R Gamble (Ireland). 7 January 1938
