Hyde Park; London; England.Rotton Row in London's Hyde Park was establisehd by William III at the end of 17th Century. The King wanted a safe road to travel from St James's Palace to the newly built Kensington Palace. He created a braod avenue through Hyde Park; lit with 300 oil lamps in1690 which made it the first artificially lit highway in Britian.
