Charles Huggins (1901-1997), Canadian-American physician and physiologist. Huggins shared the 1966 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with Peyton Rous. The share of the Nobel was awarded for Huggins's work on the hormonal treatment of prostatic cancer.
